Todd has been musky fishing for over 35 years. He has travelled the musky world and has been a writer, educator, and guide for some time. Throughout the years he has gained a great deal of knowledge about many local lakes, but does consider Chautauqua Lake home. Todd, along with his fishing partners and clients have caught and released thousands of muskies throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has introduced countless people to the great sport of musky hunting and he takes pride in helping people land their first musky.
Todd has many accomplishments in his musky fishing career. He is a many time Masters Release Division Champion in Muskies Inc., with many local tournament wins. He has won and placed in many tournaments on the professional musky tournament trail (PMTT) and in 2001 he and his partner teamed up to win the prestigious Top Gun Team of the Year award on the PMTT. Todd has written feature articles for Musky Hunter Magazine and has participated in numerous television appearances and public speaking events. His experiences and love of the sport will assure you of a great time on the water. Vance has been fishing Lake Chautauqua for nearly 20 years. It’s where he learned to fish and discovered his passion for muskies, which is all he fishes for. Since finding his love for the sport of musky hunting, Vance has been in many tournaments and participated in musky expos. Vance has been fishing the PMTT with Todd Young for the past 3 years, and has caught muskies all across the region including Canada. He takes pride in teaching clients, and helping them catch muskies, especially if it’s their first.
He works hard to put clients on fish, and this will guarantee a great and educational day on the water.

Jherek Christy is truly passionate about angling, especially for musky with a fly rod. Over the years he has spent countless hours fly fishing for musky and tying musky flies. Due to the lack of precedent, he has learned much about musky fly fishing and musky fly tying through trial and error. He has a degree in Parks and Recreation and has worked as an educator for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Jherek started with Muddy Creek Fishing Guides as the web designer.

Jim has made the decision to retire from guiding. You will be able to find him spending time fishing with his grandson, family and friends. Jim will also be volunteering at the Butler VA hospital by taking out some of our recovering vets for a few hours of fun and fishing at Moraine. Good Luck Jim! Enjoy!
